Comments:  This was a pretty good night.  Excellent seeing and moderate transparency with a low in the 50s.  M22 is on of the nearer globular clusters and was probably one of the first globulars discovered, by Abraham Ihle in 1665.  The cluster is comprised of about 70,000 stars spread over a region roughly 200 light years in diameter and is receding from us at about 149 km/sec.
