Comments: This was a rather cool "Spring" night in Northern Illinois with a low in the 30s. The Coma Cluster is a large and conspicuous cluster first catalogued by Ptolemy. It is scattered over an area of about 4.5 degrees diameter. The edge-on spiral galaxies NGC4565 can be seen in the lower left corner of the picture and NGC4559 in the upper left corner. |
