Comments:  The conditions were great considering the 70% moon throwing a gradient across the sky.  To top it off I forgot to take the dew shield out to the field.  That's what happens when you pack up quickly.  Temperature was in the low 40s.  M13, the great globular cluster in Hercules, is one o fthe most prominent and best known globulars in the Northern hemisphere.  It contains several hundred thousand stars.  Toward its center the stars are about 500 times more concentrated than in the solar neighborhood.
