Comments:  Only a moderate night for shooting.  Fog formed after midnight.  I chased M2 down toward the western horizon as a 50% moon was climbing to the east.  M2 has a diameter of about 140 light years, contains about 150,000 stars, and is one of the richer and more compact globular clusters.  At a distance of 37,500 ly it lies well beyond  the Galactic Center.
