Comments:  This is a very difficult galaxy to photograph from the Chicago area.  It is very low in the sky.  As in previous attempts with film the framing of this galaxy is difficult because of trying to find  a suitable guide star.  NGC253 is the brightest member of the Sculptor group of galaxies which is located around the South galactic pole.
