Comments: Messier 68 (M68, NGC 4590) is a beautiful globular cluster situated in an unusual place for such objects, in the hemisphere opposite to the Galactic Center. M68 was discovered by Charles Messier on April 9, 1780. This happens to be the 230th anniversary of the its discovery.
